developed a new menu of competitive incentives. In addition,
we’ve acted quickly and decisively to attract growing
industries and jobs.

Sarasota County government awarded $2.7 million in job
creation incentives to 12 start-up and expanding
businesses.
Our voters approved a
new business incentive, an ad valorem tax exemption for

million in recovery zone facility bonds to growing
businesses.
We’ve initiated
expedited permitting, web-based permitting, a fast-track
