Capital roadway construction of new roads, reconstruction and/or widening of existing roadways including the installation of traffic signals, roadway lighting, curb, gutter and sidewalk, roadway drainage, and signing and striping is handled by Road Program Management. The actual construction of these projects is awarded to contractors according to Florida state statutes and county bid process.
