Sarasota County Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for the 13^th annual Sarasota County Games for Life, Senior Games. This event promotes health and wellness to enhance the quality of life for Sarasota County’s mature population. Open to participants age 50 and older, “Games for Life” takes place throughout Sarasota County, Nov. 8-14. Senior Games events offered this year include badminton, basketball, bowling, croquet, cycling, golf, racquetball, a 5K run, shuffleboard, swimming, table tennis, tennis and track and field.

To become a “Games for Life” competitor, register online at www.parksonline.scgov.net or complete and return the official entry form, available at any Sarasota County recreation center, or register in person at Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota during regular business hours.

• An entry fee of $12 entitles each participant to an event t-shirt.

• There is an additional fee of $3 per event to compete.

• Deadline for registration is Oct. 22.
