Is your community prepared?
Privately owned roads require a recorded Right of Entry/Hold Harmless agreement with Sarasota County government in order for county employees to remove debris after a declared natural disaster. The signed agreement is required for the county to seek financial reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). To find out if your road has a recorded agreement, contact the Sarasota County Call Center at 941-861-5000 and ask for Solid Waste customer service.

If your road or homeowners association is not listed, contact the Sarasota County Call Center at 941-861-5000 and ask for Solid Waste customer service.
