Our mission: to support senior management's review of
strategic options and decision making and to lead and coordinate
the resource management policies and processes for Sarasota
County Government.
Management Analysis
and Consultation
This service addresses the ongoing responsibilities of Fiscal
Planning to study conduct management issue research, fiscal
advice and assistance to the Board of County Commissioners,
administration and constitutional officers.
Prepare and Coordinate
Capital Improvement Program
The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) constitutes the one
central coordination point for the county's management and
oversight of all capital projects. There are approximately 700
projects being monitored and coordinated at any given time. The
required CIP budget document preparation and issuance falls
within this area.
Prepare County Budget
This service encompasses the coordination of the entire budget
process, from the initial revenue forecast, through the
allocation of resources to the compilation of required
documentation. Certain aspects of the process are mandated
and/or necessary services to other business centers or elected
officials such as the TRIM process to tax collection or the
actual budget document to all functions within the county. |
